BEACH WATER POLO TOURNAMENT

MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR OF SPORT

It’s wonderful to welcome everyone to our second ever Beach Polo Tournament. The tournament follows the same format as in 2023 and we welcome eight men’s club teams and fourteen open age-group school teams. It’s a great pleasure to welcome CBC from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

A tournament like this requires a huge amount of work, and I would like to thank Rene Swart, John Nkuna, Robyn Keys, Jack Sachane, and the support staff for their continued efforts to ensure our facilities and events are well prepared and organised. Thanks to Nobuhle Mtshali and the marketing department for the programme and marketing of the tournament.

I would also like to thank Garron Robinson and the catering department for the refreshments and food provided.

Thanks to Natanya Nell, our head of functions and events, for overseeing and ensuring everything is superbly organised.

Our Water Polo parents continue to be a huge support to the club, and I would like to thank all the parents involved or who have contributed to the organisation of the tournament. It really is a massive help, and I am truly grateful for all they have done.

Finally, thank you to Nardus Badenhorst and his water polo staff who have continued to drive this event and run it so successfully.

We hope you enjoy the weekend and our hospitality, and we encourage you to support the tournament and players positively.

Yours sincerely

GARTH TURVEY
(Director of Sport)
