DIRECTOR OF SPORTS WELCOME
It is a pleasure to welcome the community to our annual Inter-House Athletics Day. This event is one of the sporting highlights of the year, and we look forward with great anticipation to discovering who will be crowned the fastest student of 2025.
We are especially pleased to welcome the boys from LEAP School, who join Tsebe House and will compete in the age groups where Tsebe do not have representatives. This is a wonderful initiative, and we are delighted to welcome 25 of their boys and 5 staff members to our Inter-House Athletics Day. We are confident that the community will extend to them the warm support they deserve. Special thanks to Mr Maboni Mmatli for making this initiative possible—we look forward to growing our relationship with LEAP School in the years to come.
We are honoured to welcome Mrs Keneilwe Mabudusha, mother of our Athletics Captain, Warena Mabudusha, who has kindly joined us to present the awards to our top athletes. It is a privilege to have you with us, thank you.
A special word of thanks goes to Charl Klaasen, John Nkuna and their team for ensuring our facilities remain world-class, and to Johan and the catering staff for the excellent food and refreshments. We are also grateful to the St Alban’s staff for officiating and facilitating today’s events, ensuring that everything runs smoothly.
Thank you to Tanaka Ndabambi, our Head of Athletics, and Chicco Ponela, both Old Boys, for their outstanding efforts in coordinating today’s programme. Tanaka, we deeply appreciate your commitment not only today but throughout the athletic season.
We hope you enjoy the day and our hospitality. It is always a pleasure to have parents supporting our boys.
