The Midterm Art Exhibition is always a highly anticipated event on our calendar. This year, for the first time, it was held outside our campus, at the beautiful St. Lorient fashion and art gallery in Brooklyn.
Under the theme “MATTER,” our Form 1-5 boys showcased their incredible art pieces to friends, family, and avid art enthusiasts. “This exhibition explores the interpretation of the word ‘matter’ on both a physical and metaphorical level,” said Ms Zelda Cloete, Head of our Visual Arts department. “A diverse range of subject matter was used across forms to express individual ideas and emotions. Most importantly, the word ‘matter’ signifies that every student matters and deserves to express and visualise what he feels and thinks.”
We are incredibly proud of the opportunity our young artists had in this experience and would like to thank Ms Cloete for providing our Albanians with a broader platform to express their talent.
