REST IN PEACE, DR BOJE!

Today, the St Alban’s College community mourns the passing of a true giant in our story.
Dr John Boje was far more than an extraordinary educator. He was a guardian of our heritage, a mentor across generations, and a quiet, steady force whose wisdom helped shape the College for more than three decades.
A great tree has fallen, and we feel the shudder across our hills. Yet even as we grieve, we recognise the profound gift of having known him. His legacy lives on in every boy he inspired, every colleague he guided, and every space on our campus that carries his imprint.
In honour of his remarkable life, our sixth Headmaster, Mr Shane Kidwell, has written a heartfelt tribute that reflects the depth of Dr Boje’s impact. We hold his beloved wife Elizabeth, his children, and the entire Boje family in our thoughts and prayers.
